I managed to arrange some times to visit the progress of the Waterfront City of Clearwater Bay Resort yesterday, Sept 24th, 2011.

The ongoing projects: (Most of my updates is on the Cluster series due to easier access, but however, the progress of the terrace series are going well hands on hands. Some of the shop houses already been painted...The jogging path is ongoing)

The sales team is annoucing that in a short while, the price will be hiking again. So for those who is still thinking...do not be late!! (It is good if you buy two units, by the time key handover, sell back one of the unit. Believe me, if you do, it is like you get the house FOC!!)

Don't be surprise if you see the color of the brick is more or less like making you jump. This white brick as written in the build spec from Waterfront's website is Kalsa brick. To be honest, I was jumping as well at the first time...but before jumping to a conclusion, I investigate more of this brick.

This is calcium silicate bricks which its' comercial name in Malaysia, known as Kalsa

Laksa: Cook With Love

Just so you know, I do not savor laksa as how much I love satay, kebab, nasi minyak plus tomato-chicken and pizza…tuna sandwich…chicken salad…yada yada yada….

(So at this point…my hubby is laksa’s no.1 fan, and now I found that my girl loves laksa as well…so we are different!!).But… I remember the moment I was pregnant and started to crave for something, I crave for laksa. Since I crave for it, hubby brought me to a lunch-hour-restaurant somewhere at Kampung Melayu Majidee (I stayed at JB at that time).

I was so excited seeing ‘LAKSA’ had written as one of the menu selection and without much thinking, I opted for it.

Dang!..A headache suddenly hit when I finally found out, the laksa they served was laksa johor…I took only one spoon…then I put the spoon and fork back to the plate. I stared at the laksagna…dengan mata berkaca-kaca…and cried a river!!! Hubby just growled then smiling because he forgot the facts that Johor has different type of laksa as well.

Anyway..that is just a history…I just recently cooking laksa..for the first time..but definitely Laksa Utara (ignore if it Penang..Kedah or Perak…the taste is more or less the same)…and not the Johor one!! ^_^

I learn to cook laksa just for my love ones sake since they love it!! Not enough of that…they craze on it!! I think my parents and PIL, SIL loves laksa too. So that bonus!

I am so glad that I got a thumb ups for this 1st trial…(Hubby loikes!!) Anyway, cooking laksa doesn’t need skills as how much skill of cake baking. The tedious part is the part where we need to detach the fish from its bone. Crush the bone and filtering. The way to cook is as simple as pouring everything together…and boil to cook.

Enjoy into laksa….^_^

Moral of the story…even if it is the first time we cook (something that not required skill), we can cook something tasty like a chef did. Given our heart is sincere to cook for the love ones. If we are not sincere, be it the 99th times we cook the same cooks, it will tend to spoil…too salty laaa….too less salt laaa…too taa tee laaaa..sometime ended up still too raw..(unless you expect it to be that way). So…cook with clean heart..and that ‘s the best tips to cook for the family!

Note: Most of my friends and officemate often reacting surprise and wonder when we share the life story like I cooked this yesterday..on weekend I cooked this…they would say…”Ellysse, were you really cook all those things? You seem like a naïve modern woman who never cook or making house job but you’re not!!??” We laugh at that point…Whatever they said; I rather like to make a simple confession that I am not a hustler in cooking. I love cooking at some point and I love experimenting with wok and spatula and salt.. And making a down to earth statement is the sweetest answer to be heard..and I love it that way..and I cook my way…just like spongebob frying krabby patty burger…simple and happy!

No More Reason: Body Mitos

Have you ever heard mitos like...if your eyelashes of the right one dropped, meaning someone is missing you..if the left one dropped, meaning someone is badmouthing you..

If you choke, someone is talking about you..

Another mitos, the cleanliness of your feets tell the cleanliness of your vital area...do you believe?

Some I don't, some I do. But from most of all, I really believe that the image of parents (in term of cleanliness and body care) can be reflected obviously by their child's appearance.

But if I do care, it doesn't mean that I will purposely flash out my child to the most just to convince people how I am. Instead, I really am like to ensure the basic cleanliness of my lil girl, guaranteed..just that's it..

The most basic every mother should has...

I am not a mean spender, and I do not a mean spending to invest some money to probe with different type of cotton buds to figure out the safest way to clean her ear's hole up...so does her earpiece..cutting her nail..etc.

If you see, the purple nail clipper is a legacy. The nail clipper is sharp enough, the purple cover will keep the cut nails automatically not scattered away from the nail clipper. And this legacy I kept ever since I was a teenager..so it could aged to 10 years since I bought it.

And from the 3 types of cotton bud in the picture, the above one is having a safety element in which it will not go too deep to the hole if you scare to dig. I think the picture is clear enough..nampak bagaimana bentuknya??

The one in lying position is my favorite for my baby..it is small in size. The stick is flexy and easy bending. The cotton won't parted from the stick. The bud is neat and the cotton won't easily detach from the stick (even though the dust) It is good in quality I must say.

I at least spend once a week to cut her nail and I choose Friday.

While I always spend the weekend on her ears or hair cut etc. If I am a housewife I will have more times??!!...(ahhh...asyik berangan). A big losses if we have enough time but we neglected this basic needs of our child. But I do my best even if I am a career-mother..at least...

If you think eating a healthy food is enough...wearing a beautiful gown is enough..for me it is not enough if the basic not even treated. I once went through minor ear surgery due to water infection, but it never makes me give up to death to dig-clean the ears of my littlest one. Current product is produced with a lot of variety to make life easier..no more reason..

Note: Akhtar would normally refuse me to cut her nail, but being a diplomatic mother is not easy..I have to say.." Kalau Akhtar x potong kuku...nanti kuku ber-Q-lat" Kalau Akhtar x bersihkan telinga..nanti telinga ber-Q-lat"...Ber-Q-lat itew ialah berKULAT..huhu..

Kebersihan itu separuh daripada iman juga wahai jelitawansss...jangan asyik menyapu losyen di badan..sehingga lupa 'mengoles' lembut anak-anak anda..mari berkongsi..

Let's start the essay today with the most interesting fact, price. The buyer would looks somehow like a cat on the hot brick knowing that current price of the buildings are hiking up again. I am not really observing the price of shop houses, but on the living house, the terrace now priced at MYR308K++, while the cluster series now at MYR338K++. An upsurge of MYR70K. And to be exact, the projects are still undergoing day by day. And everybody is hoping that the price will really hike 100% from its original price by the time the key handovered to the owner.

Red Velvettttaa...

Just recently, my god-sis was asking me for the unbaked cheesecake recipe that I made here.

If you read back, you will notice how baking makes me nut. theeheeee...

The next cake I baked (which actually suggested by my dear SIL) is red velvet. Looks yummy but just at par..the taste didn't hit my tastebud over the moon. When I eat..I feel like...err...feeling like I was fishing or something...I mean yeah...boring!!

A very harrrrdddd work!!...I messed my granny's house...lucky the maid helped me a lot...

The cake baked with nicely taste but the texture annoyed me..I was hoping for something fluffy..spongy..tender..so-so sweet and milky rich..and whatever on earth package a cake should has, but I found it ended up with texture something like bahulu...let me laugh a minute..(^_^)...Tapi ada jugak yang gembira makan part bahulu rangup tersebut....ehe..

The snowy like surface was actually the whipping cream...since I don't have mixture machine, it was not as perfect as what I expected...anyway, I have lotsa balance from the whipping cream mixture, so I decided to just bake it hoping miracle to happen. Plus my other SIL said that the mixture was something like going to be a cheesecake, she made my decision to just bake it went like alive. So this is the result...and I think the taste was awesome only that I supposed to add more lemon juice so that the sourness could be more intense.

They made my day...

I swear...

I wanted to grab one mixture-machine, the baking weighing machine, a nice mixture bowl as well..a kitchen cabinet that black and white and I want air-cond at the kitchen..I need errr..yess...a vase with nice flowers to decorate the kitchen...err and I think the mix of good facility, plus a good mood can make me succeed baking a cake in future....err will that bake a good cake really?

There's something that makes me think out of below citation, if devil was vowed to astray Adam, they would do that by all means.

If you see..this is the longest ever I haven't post anything on my blog. To be true, I was actually decided to just sack this blog out and make a new one...I was thinking some of the 'reader' here might be someone who dislikes me, the writer...but always force herself to keep on reading here...soon after, started to feeling bad watching my happy pictures...bla bla bla...and in the same time, I don't like it if someone whose not sincere follow through my life itinerary...

But just recently when I was chit chatting with my ex-officemate, my god-sis, my ex-schoolmates, my ex-housemates and some of my kin, they truly mentioned that even though fb is not the best place to keep being updated of my slow moving life (because I haven't spent much of times there), this blog is where they spent time reading...I was flattered and thinking that takkan disebabkan nila setitis 'itu'..rosak susu sebelanga..so i keep on writing ^_^ (thanks my dear friends)..

Owh Eid is Coming Our Way

Nakal!!

okey let's start...

The fasting is just getting into the 2nd days yet people have started counting, owh when will the Eid be? ….I hope to have a good 1 moon treasures =)…

By the way, I haven’t been here (blog) since my last post, because…I haven’t spend so much time on the PC instead, I spend lotsa time on the bed…I believe man needs good food to live but woman needs good sleep..^_^..

And last weekend right before the fasting Monday…we actually rambling around and get ourselves frozen at Cameron Highlands…(45 minutes from my home..tell ya this is the 5th time..I could remember every pothole on the road oledy…=P)

In the morning before the journey, I cooked yellow glutinous rice with rendang ayam requested by the guest...Sesuai... untuk marhaban ya Ramadan!!

The 'Panadol'

Hubby: What for?

Akhtar: alaaaa....Pergi Shopping laaaaa...!!! hehehehe (chuckles looking at me)

Me : Hahaaaa ..waaaa...even Akhtar knows that!!...How come Ayah (pretend) dunno what Ibu means...

Then we both mischievously laugh at the big man...

Eit....wait wait...how do this lil' girl know the purpose? She started to understand me??

Anyway, we didn't went shopping, but we spent the evening watering the lemon grass at the back yard of the house as weather today was so sunny.. hot. There we spent some time picking this tiny flowers that wild and widely grew on the earth..they are the cutest..

Then when it was about 5 more minutes to dusk, we snug into the house and as usual, Akhtar would head to her mini lappy and sat in front of her books. She loves books!!

Let's see funny things about the way she reads the book..that make me smile to ear..She's not reading to be exact, but she interpretes what she understand from the pictures..Imagination goes wild...!!!!

Foxy Flimsy

A woman is flimsy, but behind the frail, they have tears, a sweet smile and surface like a petticoat as a weapon. Don't ever overlook and misjudge!!

Back to the previous post where I wrote about one of femme that I knew was sacked out due to fraud. Little that I know, she looks nothing like the fallaciousness. Even tho knowing her is like a tip of iceberg, but at least she's part of the workmate. Everybody was wondering when knowing somebody was doing a falsified document and we kept on guessing who was she. OMG! no one can leave without mouth bunged up after knowing who's the actual culprit.

She's a sweet girl, somebody that never hike her voice, so a womanly character and always cry when people bully her. I feel shocked to death..I just can feel sorry for her.

I won't put any name here....but this little issue that far smaller than the giant BERSIH parade that engulf the nation do gave me a struck and reminder that a foxy people is everywhere.

I google some info about the sign of cheating so that I could remind myself and being careful with a person as such..

1. Maklumat dari orang ketiga

2. Bukti fizikal

3. Pengakuan dengan desakan

4. Pengakuan tanpa desakan

5. Kata-kata/Perilaku mencurigakan

6. Tidak konsisten dengan maklumat sedia ada

7. Pengakuan tidak sengaja

Kata-kata/Perilaku mencurigakan boleh membongkar sama ada suami, isteri, anak-anak, kawan mahupun jurujual menipu apabila berbicara. Kaedah sama juga diaplikasi oleh pihak polis untuk membezakan keterangan benar dengan yang palsu oleh suspek atau saksi.

Berikut adalah cara-cara mengenalpasti penipuan (www.lifetraining.com)

Penanda aras perlakuan – Kenalpasti perlakuan normal jurujual dengan bertanyakan soalan-soalan biasa seperti cuaca, makanan kegemaran dan minat. Perlakuan normal ini dikenali sebagai penanda aras perlakuan. Kemudian tanya soalan berkaitan barang yang dijual. Sekiranya jurujual menunjukkan reaksi dan ekspresi yang berbeza dengan penanda aras perlakuan, maka jurujual itu sedang menipu. Percakapan – orang yang menipu akan mengambil masa yang lama untuk menjawab pertanyaan atau menjawab dengan segera sebelum soalan tamat. Note: I'd rather believe people who talkative like donuld duck that talk so much and said.."percaya tak apa saya cakap, saya tak tipu"..compare to ones who said with tears like an ugly duckling claiming been bullied, "percayalah apa yang saya cakap ni, saya memang tak pandai menipu"..euuu...ones who said she don't know how to lie is like..err a liar right away dontcha agree?? it sounds so foxy on my ears..

Back At Last

It took me 24/7 to clean up messes web on my blog..wasn't that told you how long I am gone? =P

It left alone for ages, at least that's just how I feel about abandoning it. Well one who understand me better would know why...it is June. Month of 2nd quarter ending...and I was hooked to numbers in my office tho. It made me not eager on blogging, cuz I'd rather eager and so eager to sleep. Not only this blog, I sacrifice everything to react to the heat and momento of the quarter, thus my home is like errr...somehow..you don't want to look at it..^_^

So now, the first weekend after the quarter ended, so the weekdays was awesome when I spending it with feeling that it was 2 hours when it actually just 15 minutes flies nowhere. I relief. Even counting hours are sucks..

Thus I am back to my routine, where I still have the energy to cook for dinner this week. I made it simple and adorable. ^_^

To be exact, there's lotsa things happened in June. One of the missing update here is about the time we spent in Kedah for hubby's niece's marriage..and didn't update anything about it. Just wanna share some pixies here...we stayed at Swiss Inn Sg. Petani...

She is so shy...huhu..

And back to the job, there were lotsa shocking things happen, and some of my colleague was not here no more. It was bad when I think the way she left was tremendously not one of the way I am thinking I would do, I hope. A fraud. Let's just talk about it later. I feel sorry for 'them'.

What so sweet about June...It was our marriage anniversary on 13th..it was our dating cum engagement anniversary on 30th...

NASAM: Be a Stroke Smart

I always am need to answer questions like...are you taking collagen? Are you taking honey? Are you wearing slimming suit, are you this that yada yada yada.....

Let's make it clear that even though I love body lotion, a good hair shampoo and a tip of perfume on my neck.. I hate taking something into my tummy just for the sake of being beautiful, stunning and desirable or younger than I should. Instead, I love being healthy. To be exact! When I take something or do something, the objective is always because I wanna look healthy that mesmerizing and fresh!

And to be very exact, I have no certain tips..Making a way to a staggered routine could make me breathless. I tried my best to be as easy as I could and being myself. Any additive...will cause you hooked to it all of your life..and we might not know the side effects..plus I am still young..heh..^_^

To be healthy is smart by listening to the practitioner.. so I spend my afternoon with NASAM's talk.

NASAM is abbreviation of National Stroke Association Of Malaysia. Which was a non-profit body that established to help the stroke survivor (strokee) rehabilitate from their suffers, that out of our knowledge, it could be me, you, you, and you! The founder is suffer of stroke as well, and that's how NASAM is built.

From the statistic, 1 in every 10 minutes, malaysian attacked by Stroke. That sounds eery...

Laugh theraphy session..If you don't laugh, you might be already a strokee..=P..One of the sign of strokee..unexplained abnormal expression towards surrounding..

Stroke can be caused by all bad habits a human could always do..smoking, taking oily foods with high cholesterol, less exercise, stress by jobs or surrounding, taking alcohol (3x risky), taking medicine when our body don't really need it, etc.

And do remember since all of us could be a potential victim, once stroke attacks, get to the doctor (in emergency mode) within the first 3 hours. The quicker we act, the bigger chances to avoid severe stroke attacks.

It almost 12 midnight...I just done watching TV3...how exhilarating to see someone close we know appear on tv...=D

My full schedule and activities in May..and the closure of May's week, I will be on duty, so does my hubby...so not exciting...hurm....but after work...really can't wait!! ^^

And tonight, I will fasting...cuz tomorrow will be a health check up appointment with BP Healthcare where I scheduled it, back to a month ago..(owh..I am so scared of needle...but for the sake of health..)

I wish..my MIL will agree to take care of Akhtar so that I could dating my hubby watching the hottest movie 'Nur Kasih'. Mercy...mercy...mercy...before that...ketawa sampai lebam dulu...joke!!!

I appreciates that hubby was soooo eager to rewind our sweet memories experiencing 'plastic' in the dark, finish up two cans of Pepsi, and indulge into caramel popcorn. But of course with Akhtar not around..I can't 'concentrate'...I guess hubby will be the same! We can't feel the joy when our 'happiness' is not around!

Not only Nur Kasih, I was actually really keen to watch Merong Mahawangsa. Reviews said the film is superb and an excellent watch. So as a Malaysian, I would like to observe if the statement is practically accurate.

Anyhow...I have this in my hand now..One of the best antique that I urged my dad to keep. He loves books and so do I, so we actually have same interest! This book is never in market nowadays. If you see, the writings is antique as well..

It uses numerical roman..Chapter 7.

How to read roman number..the basic is below 3 symbols..

I = 1

V=5

X=10

if you put any number on left side, meaning you tried to deduct the amount.. while vice-versa for right side..

one = I

two=II

three=III

four= IV (since u have 5 as basic, you need to minus amount 1 to get four)

five=V

six=VI (U add 1 at right side of V so u have amount of 6)

seven=VII

eight=VIII

nine=IX (remember we have basic of ten?)

twenty =XX

so when it comes to thousand, you will have 100 pcs of X..that makes roman number not effective..got it right..? My dad taught me this!

If I want to write "Buku itu perlu lapan hari dibaca dalam cahaya terang laksana mentol"

thus this antique would write something like..

"Buku itu demikian perlu delapan hari di-bacha dalam chahaya terang benderang laksana mentol"

You will frustrate to read it at first glance but if you keep on reading, you will enjoy the story better than the latest book's edition.

He had another antique books titled "Hikayat Seribu Satu Malam" which is indeed...awesome. A dozen in a line. And I really love those books and of course I want him to take good care of it. See how my dad ensures the books still in a very good condition?!..He wrapped them using the xray film...believe it!! When I was so into these books, I couldn't sleep or eat or bathe because the books were so haunted!! Better than Merong Mahawangsa..

I had attended my schoolhood's best friend cum aunt's wedding, with my mama and ayah around, we actually have connection. My PIL was attending as well. Congrate to Ain and Aie!!

There we ate nasi minyak..erm not sure if that was nasi minyak or nasi tomato ..I can't differentiate them. Eat 1.

Eat 2nd, we have late night dinner with my niece...(my hubby's side)...owh to be reminded, we gonna meet again 1st weekend of June...very soon!!. We had 'burnt' barramundi that night.

Geramm...they grilled it and pour a not so good sauce..we both agreed about that..and the squid platter was too crunchy..( I'd never munch squid with crackling sound..except junk snack perisa sotong..so this is something ..ermm..new..)

A Chat To Remember

Yesterday..I was a full housewife. As usual, being a 'housewife' won't be perfect without starts at the early bird hours. Cooking...work with the laundry..housekeeping..and to ensure the littlest one enjoy the day her way. A must!!

I brought her to McD as I have an offer coupon in my pocket. Buy 1 ala carte McChicken and you'll get 1 free McChicken. Nice? Then we went shopping and loitering at Ipoh and Greentown area for some business..this and that... (sambil teringat2 bestnya kalau ayah ada sekali..)

About the McChicken..We both share the same piece...and we have a nice chit chat..

Ibu: Tata, mana best? Tinggal ngan ibu ke opah (the sitter)?

Tata: Opa...heehehe (she chuckles)..

(So I tot to twist the question, see what she returns?!).

Ibu: Ape? Opah ke ibu?

Okay...I supposed continue with the 'midnight project' results last Sunday, on the dot. But as always, writing with heart, I just carried away by LAZY DOZY.

Now I share the result of 'our' teamwork...me and Akhtar to be exact....Caramel Mango Cheesecake...

So the utensil is actually an aid for measurement..like to measure the size of 1 tbsp or anything equal of that...and as you might recall when I said that the precision for me is very essential...cuz baking a cake is a scary thing ever..huhu..unless you are a cincai type..throw up everything..hoping for a perfect mixture..but after bake, just then you know your cake tak menjadi..owh I hate that...too clumsy..

neway...the taste is perfecto...the recipe should go with raspberry actually but since I only have mango in my fridge, so I altered the recipe. And the recipe suppose been baked in oven if I have 500g cream cheese, but since I only have 250g, thus I must go with the unbaked recipe that I kept. Throw the freaking chemical...put into the fridge one night...

I read before that harumanis is not suitable for cheesecake, so since I have siku raja ....after indulge into this icy sweetener, I suppose siku raja made an excellent blend.

However, to be honessstttttt....despite the good taste here and there whatsoevaa....I suppose that the texture was emmpphh..neway...not as what I expected..maybe I put too less jelly powder...???

Enjoy it with honey lemon tea...ummppphhh!

Then it kept me thinking if the utensils gave correct measurements????

I check through the size again, for 1 tbsp, I think it's too big like..hey..is that table spoon size or meeting-table size?grrr...it growls my heart...

neway...anything bad, we can make it as a good reminiscent..as funny things remain last in memory...

Collectible 'Miniature'

On weekend, I am lucky when my dear hubby won't be hesitate to help keeping tidy the out front space of our home. But when he steps outside, I will after him closely...over take him and sneaking the sliding door, quick my eyes roll to locate where my heels are and pick 'em up and bring them to a safer place...and chuckle!

As usual, hubby would just smile on my caprice, he knew what I love most!...heels!

Thus just so you know, do not ruin my shoes!!..

And that explains why I love to have a good shoe for my baby as well, so that every single pairs she wore is collectible and I could stand a muzeum for it. Thanks to the shoe's durability!!..now you know why durability is important!..It remains the memory..^_^..

I will want to ensure they are safely keep after been use in a season.

Some that are still in a very good worn conditions..

Remember when I said I got my baby the pale violet clarks-first shoe before. I guess that's the best shoe ever for baby. It is comfy since day 1 and a safe wears on all type of surface. I had not write any review of the clark shoe before because I suppose, we need times to observe the goodwill of the shoe before making a judgment. Especially for the sensitive feet, like babys'.

So chic' and comfy!!...and...

so confident....no? ^_^

A Gift of Lucky 7

One thing you can give but still keep, is your word. When we said A, we do A. Do not said A but do B. That’s what people keep on telling.

But in some cases, to let our instinct rules is sometime better than necessary. Back to the basic; human is anticipating, but God is determining.

I was enjoying Lucky 7 last night. A story about the root of thoughts from a dying mom to the one and only 7 years old daughter. Ever since, the little girl kept believes that the lifetime planned wrote by her mom on the drawings will come true and that advice will ensure her to not to stray from the correct path.

The advice is something like..

When you are at 12 years old, you’ll be at the primary high school.

At another stage of age, your dad will send you to the summer camp.

You will have your first boyfriend at age of 16th. (too early lah! .. ignore this point please..)

There will be #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6 and #7. And you will know eventually who’s your #7 and he would be the right man in your life. (OK..something like that..)

So the girl keep on marking when everything that her mom wrote was really came true and the story became more interesting when she was at the stage of knowing the 6^th and 7^th man. She strongly believed that the correct man should be the # 7^th. But it was so unlucky when she found her so-into-guy when she just still to get into the 6^th sequence. Thus to make this guy his 7^th man, she looks for someone to meddle the 6^th position.

She finally found someone for the 6^th position but by all sorts of small things happened, she denied the feeling that she had fallen for the 6^th man and struggling between her own feeling and her mom’s advice.

Guess which man she opted at the end? Yeah ..the 6^th!!

She just realized that the #7^th is just a metaphor…when the right man comes, she should know.

I like this story cuz it was something like I had ever promised to myself. Nut or what? but that was what I did ^_^: My vow: “I would accept (giving a chance) the 1st man who proposes me to be his dating when I would be in my 2nd year of study (in varsity)!..” With certain reason this vow made..and that’s unable to be revealed!

At last…

I had rejected whoever came on my way with my hands up- in my 1st year of study. ( I am not regret I was a heart breaker …I didn’t really look at their name or their face…I just say...Naaa!! and walk away..bad me? :P)

I was waiting (anticipating ecli ^_^) for the first man in the very second year.

June, 30th 2004 (few days after 2nd year started), Hubby called me up to propose but to be exact; he was 15 minutes late after the first man call. But I accepted him and reject that guy away even though he was the second one to propose.

I broke my vow but to follow what my heart said..and I knew now it’s true. He is the man!! I love him so much much much!! ^_^

Sticky Rice for Cake

Baking a cake sometime is a hassle (for me) if it matches to my details-concern cuz when the recipe said…

“Drizzle a tablespoon of vanilla flavour!”, I went like, hey which tablespoon this book meant for? I have tones of tablespoon brand and shape with me!!??

If it is “Drizzle a teaspoon of baking powder or something”, I went like, should I make the surface flat or mounted the spoon?

Grrr… I am so dubious!! Thing like this drives me nuts!!

So I was dreaming to bake a birthday cake for my baby. Not a cake of wheat floor, cheese or egg bla bla …but it made of sticky rice! The main course was chicken rendang for the more likely a majlis kesyukuran. My family was there and they really made Akhtar’s day with the gifts…TQ all!!! Luv! Luv!

Hubby said “Birthday Tata ade pulut kuning, birthday ayah xde ke?!”…aauuwww TQ for the compliments after the statement scanned between the lines!! ^_^ everybody loved it too and that makes me even encouraged to cook and try new recipe!! (errr remember when I said I am a novice?) geee...

Note: I love cheese cake, but of course the creamy, fluffy and rich in flavor one…if it baked keras macam dodol itu bukan cheese cake even tho it made of cheese....huhu..no?

Tea and oily food is a perfect duo! They just perfect as how the mascarpone cream mountains the red velvet cake. Temptation ain't rejectable!!

So my scrumptious breakfast normally won't be perfect without hot tea around! In other way around, now you know one good tip to stay non-fatty while taking oily meals such as fried rice...match them with hot tea!

No worries to be a slob for breakfast!!

Short Farewell - Umrah!

I was sorry that we couldn't make it to convey them at KLIA even tho my heart was actually jumping, wanted to be there!...**hugs and kisses**, but be it here, it was never be too bad..

In the morning of April 1st (the day of departure) , when we arrived at my PIL 's place...I was happy to see that both of them was exhilarated and fully ready..and a lot of times that we kept on remind them..."Don't be sad during the departure because you would be there to enjoy and have fun and we seem didn't have any down hearted or sorrow or something...it would be great for both of you!.....you will enjoy the itinerary...it is a visit neway!" ^_^

"Ayah & Mak, selamat jalan!! You will be missed by your naughty menantu ^_^..we will definitely miss you two..!!Sob...( jangan 'sob' banyak2... everything would be just fine!!!)"

* Owh hati sangat sayu bila Akhtar x henti2 menangis dan melambai2 ke tingkap bas Opah dan Atuk sambil menjerit "Nak tut...nak tut..."...hubby cepat2 suruh lari masuk ke kereta...sungguh that I didn't want to make them feel unhappy when they supposed to be happy and think positively all the way..May Allah bless the journey...

Donation vs Zakat?

I am happy that my non-muslim friends are not hesitate to ask me more about things that they need explanation and I appreciates that this indicates how the level of trust they put on me as a friend, is undoubtful.

I received one email to ask for some comments from below email that forwarded altogether.

Take your time to read, and let's learn the answer I gave on this issue. My explanation, as usual will be as simple and understandable as I could. With some knowledge and basic! If any of the readers could share the best way to explain, u're welcome at anytime! as knowledge sharing is non limited with time and distance!!

The email with commotion between non-muslim and muslim for me is a crap as the writer wrote it without deeply study about the definition of zakat and how is it been differentiated to donation in the eyes of muslim. Which if you read, the writer tried to say that donation is non-muslim's 'obligation

Donation to temple or church and Zakat Calculated Differently for tax purposes

READ AND DO THE NECESSARY AT THE NEXT GEN. ELECTION.

When non-Malays do their religious obligations, it is NOT tax deductable unless the Church or temple has applied and obtained the approval for tax exemption, which is normally very stringent and seldom approved..

(KCMC applied and have not got the approval until today)

Even if approved the donation is restriced to 7% of your aggregate income.

(This has been revised to 10% from YA 2009 for company.)

Whereas zakat qualifies for 100% and is deducted from the tax liability.

Example.

Ah Chong Donate temple : RM10,000.

His Annual income : RM100,000.

Tax Relief : RM 23,000 (For Individual) + RM 7,000 (For Donation)

Chargable income : RM70,000

Tax payable : RM7,125

Ahmad - same income and relief

Chargeable income : (RM100,000 – RM23,000) = RM77,000

Tax payable : (Rm7125 + 1680) = RM8,805

Less zakat : RM 10,000

Tax refundable : RM (1,195)

Ah Chong has the same annual income & donated the same amount, but he still needs to pay tax of RM7,125

Yet, Ahmad is entitled to a tax refund of RM1,195.

He is also deemed a dutiful tax payer and honours his religious obligations.

How do you like that?

THIS IS CRUDE BUT STRAIGHT TO THE POINT !

Do you know that 90% of the people paying income taxes in Malaysia are the non-Malays?

Yes you are one of them.

Malays who are taxable usually prefer to contribute to Zakat (tax deductible from NETT tax) and give to State Religious bodies (not Govt or Income Tax Dept)

PAY YOUR TAXES DUDE, SO THAT THE MALAYS CAN ENJOY THEIR LIVES AND CALL YOU PENDATANGS! (END OF CITATION)

My simple explanation...

In Islam, zakat is an obligation, gazetted in sharia law. While donation is an option (one way of delivering zakat as well). If we didn't performed the zakat while we afford it, it is sinful. But if you have million dollar and cent, and do not wish to donate, this is your option. Zakat is more likely a 'tax' in other words. Must pay!!

Muslim practices to donate as well, but we normally won't claim back from LHDN.

Donation is a charity in which we did it with our own will - without any force. if we sincere, why do we want to claim back? Right?

Thus, if muslim already been 'taxed', thus it makes sense by maths and logic when the calculation is a bit different.

Note: General election??? Person who can rule, must able to see the big picture. Person who could see the big picture, must be the one who ever did the micro-manage! Study the details before make a conclusion and commotion. Zaman sekarang orang kata, google first before you tweet or blog or fb!..huhu..oppsyy!

When I was small, my dad was the one who really the man who care of my healthy hair. I always was with ponytail. And the ponytail tied with colorful ribbon, and sometimes with other accessories. And so I was happy went to school with my ponytail. When I am happy to school, I loved to learn. When I love to learn, I became the best student. When I am the best student, I grew up bright and healthy, and who am I right now if it is not because of the two angels in disguise, my dad and mama!!

I love to see my gurly little baby in ponytail as well. I love to see my baby always looks tidy, clean! And I always love if she could have a long hair as how was I done.

A stressful job could throw you lazy and exhausted at the sofa, unsexy!

But when you lying down, it could help you to think like a poise queen with more sentiment.

I was thinking about the word 'profesionalisme'!

When we are at the workplace, the environment required and force us to be profesional, to left behind all sorts of problematic things of our personal life. Yeah!..people said, your performance can be influenced if you act problematic due to your personal issue. Boss will say, no good!...No good!!

Well that wasn't me...(but it wasn't the case here on who did such issue...saya cuma terfikir tentangnya..tahu je la end of this quarter never fail to make me grrrr).

The case is, when we get back home, do we acting profesional as well??

I mean, you don't drag home the stressful of your task, don't you?. You didn't throw your tantrum over the loved ones at home when there's someone made you freak out at the office?

He Had Such a Quiet Eyes

I found that the result of SPM's candidates have been announced today and I hope everyone hit their marks and success with flying colours!!!

And I so found some new love on my most favorite SPM's subject >> English & Literature. What's so interesting? there's new poem that I think I like to read and to understand the synopsis!

Let's get into the art of writing. During my time, it was 'Sonet 18' by Shakespear. The brand new now...'He had such a quiet eyes' by Bibsy Soenharjo:

She did not realise..

They were two pools of lies..

Layered with thinnest ice..

A good poem to advice the teenagers about puppy love or something.

But well, art is never so limited. We can read between the lines, or we can read what is at the surface.

If you read this poem between the lines, the advice not only can be applied to lies between man to a woman..It can be a lies of one person to the other as well. Man or woman is not the point here, it is about human and sincerity. About too good to be true, but lie lies dimly at the distance..about attitude...=)

A wise old saying about attitude that can be related here: Life is not about ones who act true to your face, life is about ones who remains true behind your back!

Urghh..I can't write more...4 days without update and again as usual, end of quarter would be the best reason. I was on a busy mood. I can't go to lunch on time...I can't spend my 10 minutes even to window shops at the office's mart. But I still be blessed that I could go back on time everyday so far...By all means, end of quarter still the most disliked in this world...=(

Yeah of course, as a career wife..weekdays ain't a perfect time to play with pan and squid and knife and lesung batu or that whatsoever related. Everything is like in an errand. So making a way to full set of meal is a hectic, so I just buying.

So today we made up to Akhtar's sitters'. Her first daughter's wedding!

The sunny weather is perfect for such ceremony. But it is sooo hot!! And so we didn't spend so long plus hubby would like to go to the mechanic for some probe with the vehicle.

Lucky there was air-conditioned cubicle...so Akhtar could sleep.

This is a boring day so this post is a pretty boring one too.

I on leave today so I spent the day cooking and make up the house. And today is a wet day because it was raining and we couldn't run and hop outside.

So that I was sorry to my dear 'running machine'...thus we brought her to the nearby McD just now, so that she could play while my hubby and I would take couple of drinks and fries while we were watching her on the colorful slider.

Yeay yippie yippie time!!!:

She met new friends and they were many. Thus I couldn't let her unattended because I figured that some of the buddy were not of her league at all. They play harsh!

I was kinda screaming 'hey little girl, do not kick my gurl!! Back of! back of!" Percaya tak saya buat macam itu kepada kanak-kanak (yang kiasu dan menggeramkan betul la!) tersebut? hurmmm..as always, I have no heart to use my verbal power over kids. They just kid!! Thus I just gave her a straight look and bar her feet away from Akhtar. Another scenario, when Akhtar was on the stairs, she snatched her way and tried to push her and made me hell worry. Gosh! Sabar je lah!

As always, If the playland was too crowd, Akhtar herself would just leave it and join us. I am proud of the way she behaved.

After finished the drink at about 10pm, we went home and I washed her hands and legs with Dettol soap. I cleaned her face. Put on her Mamy Poko with then lil' Akhtar attired her sleeping pajama with pink dodi cat on the tummy and give the reader her goodbye face...

Wheat Puff - For the Tea-Time

Had you ever find that your childhood memory came back about the meals you'd ever taken, but you find that you won't ever taste it again? Like exactly the taste?

I did, and they are a lot!

I missed the mackerel sandwich of the school's canteen when I was 7 years old.

I missed the sweet potato curry puff that cooked by my granny. (She passed away when I was 20's)

I missed lychees and strawberry jelly that my daddy often bought when I was 5 years old.

I missed the feeling of indulged into KFC because I made it to get the first place in the class for every exams. And it was a gift from my dear mama. It is nothing same like now even tho I afford to buy it myself.

Another food that I missed is this wheat puff. Munch, munch and munch!!

And Akhtar loves it too. She ate half of this servings size, believe me or not!?

Simple recipe! Just like the pictures (Wheat floor 300g + egg 1 pc + 3 tbsp margarine). Owh yes, do not forget to drizzle with a pinch of salt. Knead the dough until it becomes soft and smooth. Shapes it like a plate. And deep-fry.

You may take it with sauted-chillies or chicken curry!...Or anything like salad and tuna.

This puff is my mama's favorite and I cooked for her when she was ill 10 years pass (pantang selepas pembedahan!!). I miss that moment!!

Simple Notes

I used to have a dear diary when I was small. A nice pinky book that can be locked with tiny key, but often that it would be abandoned half way just like that. I am really someone who never really look back in life I thought. And that's the reason I never kept a diary for a long period of time. ^_^

I love simplicity, just put a note on my dear table calendar and that is just fine. A short term

reminder. Something just like below pic...

This calendar itself remind me to not to miss on monthly fee of Akhtar's Great Eastern insurance account. Actually this is a part of the best thing we could do as a parent for our beloved baby; to provide them a good protection and coverage for emergency or unpredictable issues. Remember on my last post when Akhtar was warded in KPJ? GE considered reimbursed her last 1 year insurance's fee for that particular warded period. And I guess it just worth it!!

The month of February 2011 was rendering me a lot of bitter sweet memories that unforgettable. The most special date is 27th in which, it has given a big impact in my life (so does hubby and the lil' Akhtar), in a split second. We were vowing for a big commitment and yes, our effort would be ceded for quiet few decades ahead. Anyway, I won't elaborate about it any further.

Eih...I really can't wait to go through this week. I got 2 days leave...gahhhh! Time to be slumberly lazy dozy...miowwww...

If I am A Housewife…

Sometimes when I stress out by the job or I am on a bunch of stacking annual leave, I would just love to get an approval for a leave and being happy just to stay at home. One more person who would be extra excited is my beloved hubby; even tho he still needs to go to his office.

Why?

Cuz when I am at home, I will be there to take care of Akhtar : he won’t be worry about sending her to the sitter and keep on thinking whether the sitter takes good care on her or not?

Cuz when I am at home, I will wake up at the early bird hour and spend the time to ensure the housekeeping in a very tiptop condition: he loves a tidy house and a fine ambience so when he back to home and step inside the in-order house; that makes him flaunts a smile that dragged to the ears and saying hi with his warm smile and hug. And keep on saying “Just drop a tender letter tomorrow and stay at home ok..”..ouch!!

Cuz when I am at home, I don’t need to spend extra effort to cook, (contradict!!) Cuz when he is happy looking at the tidy house; it is very easy for him to invite me to a fine dining outside. Geeee.. I like! ^_^ (It is not that I don’t like to cook; verily I love it but I appreciate when he appreciates my hard work..don’t you see?)

So, If I am a housewife; the prime thing I figured which I have to polish and certainly focus to is the tidiness and the well being of the whole house cuz from all the above items; my hubby’s highest requirement is a tidy house. A tidy house could throw him over the moon!!! What a feeling of being such a good wife if not to love and to understand and being supportive?

As a career-wife with big heart; I always hoping to offer him the same treatment even if on the working days but sometime; stroked by the tiring days and being mentally exhausted; stopping me from performing to the fullest. (Dropping 30% efficiency tho…=P)

To hire a maid; I would say no since I really need a privacy in this very young relationship. Thus that explain why a maid is a no- no.

Our age of marriage is getting longer and the bonding is getting stronger and I hope ‘live happily ever after here and hereafter’ ever a true story ending for us! Pray is to Allah!

Be me as a career-wife; I really eager on all those housekeeping things even if I couldn’t go the whole heart.

I hope I will be able to take up the challenge!! chaiyookk..

I just recently googled on the Qatar’s first lady, Sheikha Mozah latest public

appearance, however still an official one. She as usual looks so lovely and even more credible! One of the 100 most powerful women in the world according to Forbes magazine.

She’s a good proof to the fashion world that showing off less skin can be attractively graceful, influencing and an eye candy as well.

Even tho wearing a turban like that ain’t my option of wears, but to some people eyes; it works. Let see which lady I recently just realizing that she copycats Sheikha Mozah’s style and yet nobody spoke about it…(or may be the fashion critique in Malaysia not realized and sensitive enough about the copycat that is happening because she’s someone with fame as well..and a wife of ‘somebody’)

OK… She’s not in my favorite list even if she wears something like Sheikha Mozah anyway…^_^…

Wasn’t that so proud to know that somebody else copycats our style? Even they didn’t sound up; but we know they adore us and we know we are inspiring others! Inspiring others for good is good...beside Sheikha Mozah, I am still looking for more to be appleofdeye blog icon. For the time being, Sheikha Mozah still the best in all things..be it fashion, style, quality and her goodwill.

I Am Moving My ‘Knight' then 'Bishop’

Continuity from the last ‘Why she attacked me???’ post…

I have a lot of works to do yet all this even messed me up. And I supposed to upload this post yesterday, but I was on the bed early and a contradict, I only got time for blog at night. No internet access in the office, thus definitely unable to upload at the day time. Ehh why not just give me a call…My phone is accessible. Kan lebih senang dan cepat?!! ^_^ (Saya pula tiada phone number pengirim email tersebut…sudah ditukar kalau x silap saya…aishhh)

I received another email from her on last Monday. A 2nd email even I already told her not to send me email anymore. Since she’s insisting with another reply; I will answer it; but through this blog. If she reads, ok. If she doesn’t visit appleofdeye no more, well anggap sahaja saya tidak pernah membalas email tersebut. A transparent one kali ini di blog so that no manipulation or transition on the contents.

She tried to make a correction with saying that she sent the email not to attack me but to get explanations about this post which made her offended.

My reply : OK; I take that excuse. So next time, if the purpose of the email is to get explanation, glad I am to remind, tanyalah sekadar untuk mendapatkan penjelasan. Seperti..”Adakah post tersebut ditujukan khas kepada saya?”. Ringkas!

Tidak perlulah menokok tambah ayat-ayat lain yang berbaur tuduhan, menghina (tak perlu saya perincikan ape penghinaannya) dan memecahbelah dan melaga2kan dengan menamakan si polan yang berkata itu dan ini tentang saya, saya dibezakan dengan si polan yang lain begitu begini…tsk…sebagai mangsa keadaan, sudah pasti kata-kata itu menyedihkan, dan boleh menimbulkan fitnah terhadap si polan dan polan-polan yang lainnya. Saya tidak pandai berhujah dengan hadis etc., tetapi saya tahu bahawa dia lebih hebat pengetahuan hadisnya dari saya yang kekurangan, maka tak perlulah saya furnish di sini.

Note: Selalu percaya; every cloud has it silver lining….^_^ in other way around, kerana dia terasa dengan post blog tersebut, secara tak langsung saya tahu isi hatinya yang sebenar terhadap saya sebenarnya sebegitu. Saya tidak mahu menyimpannya dalam hati…saya sudah maafkannya. Tetapi saya teringat kata2 ini.

When whilst actually the post would has nothing to do with her. Sebab dia mudah terasa itu dan ini…. Menyebabkan dia sakit hati dan mula berburuk sangka dengan saya dan mula menghantar email dan sebagainya. Tetapi saya ada berkata, tiada salahnya jika dia membaca blog ini; tetapi jika ada lagi terasa sinun dan sinin, jangan salahkan saya. Saya mahu berblog dengan aman dan tidak akan menukar url blog ini.

Note: Sekarang saya anti dengan perkataan terasa! Merasa! Rasai! Perasaan! errrr…boleh x DBP tukar ke perkataan yang berbunyi lain untuk makna ayat ini? Mesti DBP geleng kepala dangan saya…sound funny? ^_^ joke!

Why She Attacked Me???

We had a nice tea time today and we had had toasted bread with rocking rustic egg. The flavor dramatically burst when we sprinkle enhancer like pepper and soy sauce. Took it with a cup of white coffee...such a poised moment.

Yet; not like on another one cold day; I received a slap email, another recurrence after a year. Ketenangan sepeti terganggu Khamis lalu. Rasa seperti ditampar di pipi. I can’t stop think of it.

She still is keeping a grudge over me and I was being harassed again and again. Lucky this time; the workload is just like a pea, thus I was smiling on her email and not fully disturbed; try to be blisteringly poised, and think like a mature. Again, ini kali kedua saya memaafkan penghinaan dan kata2 berbaur iri hati yang saya terima darinya. Saya redha dan saya maafkan dia. She's a part of the closest family members (not biologically us). But I think; I still can be nicely forbearing, demi kebaikan semua.

And so, I decided to let the email that I received last Thursday; kept for another 1 day, so that I could think a reply that could ingeniously be plotted. Yes, I replied the email on last late Friday right into her gmail account when I feel like clicking the 'send' button is better than keeping quiet and let she thinks herself. (Well if she's a paranoia, thus how could she sanely thinks? right?). So I decided to send her a message so that she realized that she's someone like Ally McBeal (pernah tgok cerita itu? Terlalu banyak berangan! ^_^). So I hope she stops viewing this page, and stop bothering me.

I had no idea why she could up to this level of envy and negative inkling about me. There's endless complaint about this and that and she was jumping on my throat...She claimed that I am loathing her...what the heck??? This is what I called haywire extreme.

To be exact, I was indeed stunned in front of the PC about reading the complicated contents that could haywire my grey cells. She was asking why do I hate her? But in the same time, she's marking me as a fugly slut, and I wondering who hates who now? Saya sangat hairan dan tidak habis berfikir kenapa saya perlu bencikan dia? Saya tidak pernah membenci dia..langsung tidak seperti apa yang dia fikir!! ~sigh~

How do I like her apples? I am thinking about pasting the email that she sent to me here but I am still considering that some people might be jump on the way she expressed her tantrum over me..Should I?

She's a housewife of two children (and I love the two children so much indeed and always missing them who stay far at south) and I supposed that she should have a lot of work to do in her daily routine rather than spending time drafting a credential to mock and insult others. And because that she's a housewife, I take that she's too emotional with low EQ, and that she's living in an ivory tower and too naive she is about getting socializing with others.

If she keeps insulting me after this; I think I should go to the next level.

Note: Life is like a chessman making a move, whether we move the soldier to get the queen and let the foe's next steps retarded, or we go directionally and strategically win the king. In this case, I use the 1st approach. Urrrmmmm...my favorite game!!

Idiom: People who are living in an ivory tower are detached from the world around them. Jika bahasa melayu, kita panggilnya katak di bawah tempurung. Bukan di bawah tudung saji okey..joke! Chill!!!

Whose dunno that onion easily rotten if we keep it in a covered area that the humidity is high just as much as how the kitchen cabinet does?

But do you know that it will be even more perfect to use it while driving; in a heavy rain; in the midnight or day, when it is very hard to see the surrounding especially when there's another vehicle radiate their lamplight on the wet road from the other site?

Let's us recall on the A level physics subject about the light diffraction, when it gets through medium like crystal, glasses or water. The light will unevenly diffuse and irritatingly scattered; and will cause vision distraction. That is the thing that happening when we look at the front window; and the rain heavily pour onto it. Be it days or night.

This post is equal to a token of appreciation to the BIL as he had taken us here during our last visit to JB. To be exact; the same day before we went to the former sitter's home (previous post).

Es Teler 77 if you didn't know; it is a franchise restaurant that originated from Indonesia. And the 1st branch in Malaysia is the one that we visited; right at the Tune Hotel, JB. While the 2nd one; is at Sungai Wang Mall. There are 2 of a kind in Malaysia.

Es Teler 77 and Tune Hotel which is a subsidiary of Air Asia company, is making a joint venture thus that explain, why it was located right under one roof!. Es Teler 77 is the breakfast point appointed for Tune Hotel...I mean for the customers of course.

Left and bottom pic is the featured dessert; Es Teler. Nice!! So does the next to its, SIL's :Es Nangka (Jackfruit!) ..Nice as well; but it's haarrrrdddd for me to take as this is purely coconut milk; I guess. Something like cendol! My husband fav- The picture is not here however. Owh geee!!

errr...not so sweet pulak now; dang!!.. (The stripe is adidas signature..look sporty pulak aite?)

Anyway; I just bought this new adidas samantharina walking shoe. To replace my high heels. Nope! Don't come to a conclusion yet.

When I complimenting that my new charm is an ordinary but comfy walking shoe, it doesn't mean that I forget about my stilettos and turn ';em down. But in contrast; It even more to show how my love is... to my dear cordon of high high heels..

Actually it takes me few hundred meters to reach the entrance point (from the parking bay) and exchanging shoe (specially for indoor use) at my workplace. Thus; walking on the hard black pavement; the heels lose out. I am sick and sad to see the late elle studded heels (blue black and red ..2 pairs!!) stacked in my garbage bin. 1 pair of vincci (very comfy one)..and so few other heels that I couldn't remember the brands, had a same fate. Just because of this issue. So; I made up my mind; and chose to get them nicely keep in the shoe rack rather than I get them injured by the road. =P

This walking shoe is not bad at all. They offer comfort and

speed when I am walking.

And the most vital; they are known for it durability; and a pocket winning transaction.

Note: I was actually stunned and nailed to a pair of pink highlight walking shoe at the clark boutique I recently visit; but since the price is too high when the quality is equally comparable with adidas and nike; I just decide to crave on 'em rather than own it.

Well it mere to be worn for a total 10 minutes daily walking from the parking bay; to the entrance door...So it worth it!

Not a Fair Judgments

We were just came back from a good hot-fried-barramundi tummy's treat.

Well however; there's nothing so special about the barramundi, except it verily great taste. But this post is more to an overheard conversation I forced to listen to. (It was an overheard okay, not me who tresspassing the conversation).

The distance between the table is not so far, and there's a couple of husband and wife with their kids sitting next to us south, west and east.

The husband is reading an old URTV's magz provided by the restaurant, might be reading to kill times while waiting for the seafood. There's a segmen I don't know what but the picture of Mia Sara Nasuha and Dato' Siti is on the pages. (I love to see the cute Mia Sara on stage!! She's cute!!)

Wife: Siti! Siti! Siti. U really a fan for her ain't you?!

Husband : What is the bugging all about. U x habis2 cemburu bukan2. (He's so relax tho)

Wife: Ehh...Siti tu pakai tudung pun x betullah.

Husband: Awak tu cemburu die mmg lawa. (I want to laugh at this point..she's playing with his jealousy wife)

Wife: Rambut tu kan ke aurat. Bagus sangat la you minat die.

Husband: Not a fair judgments. Nampak sangat you ni jeles. X relevan you nak kutuk die.

Wife: Ape x relevan pulak, betul what? You x kan tak tau, rambut tu aurat.

Husband: Memang rambut tu aurat, tapi yang you pakai selendang litup tapi jarang tu bukan sama jugak x bolehnya? Kaki tu, xpakai stokin, bukan aurat jugak? Sudah la you. That's why I said; not a fair judgements. Yang you buat elok2, u boleh la komen. Habis tu yang you pun x buat, seems like no chance you nak kutuk pulak. Cut it off.

The husband keep on reading; while the wife's lips seem like zipped.

I agree with the brilliant husband somehow on the phrase "not a fair judgements'. I just can smile on the conversation. Put away the contents they talked about; I would like to touch more about the attitude. The wife:

Life in this provisional world is full of jealousy and envy. Some people know that life is short; but spending a lot of time to envy on other people. And spent a lot of effort to bad mouth people to get extra merit.

I do know some people who really love making a not fair judgement on me, in so many ways. Sometime I feel greatly regret talking to them, sharing idea and interest, and at the end the words that we sincerely share, the affection that we sincerely express, repaid by a terrible sound of envy and bad mouth. Even worst; our words been manipulated!

It is good to have a good advice from a correct person; but if to get an advice from a street person like that; it is best to ignore!!. It just an awesome 'not-a-fair-judgement'.

Talking about the word 'judgment', I just make a judgment when I know I am perfect. But I do realize that in this world, no one is perfect. Including me. So, bare in mind.

Note: I used to have a friend who came to make good friendship with me, but until certain timeline, she just went off; and told my other friends; " I wanted to make friend with her just to get some people attention and her fame". - My schoolhood's story morry!! ^_^.

This high end restaurant is located at the heart of greentown city in Ipoh. They are the best in term of the mentioned motto and of course the servings are delightful. Thumbs Up!!

I guess just recently RS3 extended their business from focusing on padang dishes and plain rice alone; to a broader range of meal inclusive western and malaysian cuisine such as carbonara; up to mee goreng mamak; and as simple as a tempting piece of cake. Can't resist!!

I feel so affected of the meetings; cuz I left JB when the sitter was still in Mecca, Dec 2010. I can feel the bond is still there and the meeting seemed so happening.

I know I have been MIA for quiet some times; which I could explain as: I need to sleep early every night in order to make a way to appear healthier than ever. ^_^

I am of course not stressed out by the task but more or less; being a busy mom, taking the best prime time to ensure the house in a good order is a must and would be the first thing after working hour. So I sacrificed my outer-web-world.

Seems like nowaday, I figured that my lil' hearty angel is cooperating a bit well and tolerating her mommy a lil space for this blogging job; so I thought, I should start gearing up.

Ikebana Sort Of..

I am actually recently doing some sort of study about ehem...floral.

The false one as my mom was asking me to buy a bouquet that full and high so that she could put somewhere at an edge of the home. I was looking around the shops and the heaven of false flowers around Ipoh area, where else if not KK street. But I found 'em too expensive for something that I could do it myself.

Thus; I called it a day and gave it dash of a trial and let see my amateur job...=P

The tips and toes..

They actually inspired by the ikebana style that I recently just so in love; but yes, my mom may not like it..yes...everyone know, a silver age eyes most of the times won't fancy a baby boomer's eyes...(kesukaan mereka tidak cocok dgn apa yang kita suka..=P- eh speaking indon pulak)

I don't (no-no-no) fancy on a flat mood flower decoration. One or 2 types of flower...cucuk cucuk cucuk and eheh too 'no mood'..but price ..urgh..too hurt...

I'd rather like...wow...different..but cost down! It just takes few materials and it works.

Seems like the ikebana style is the one that really..sort of.. match that idea...few that I like from web..

Anyway; this is the lasssstttt of my touch...which made my mom changed her mind and not put it at an edge, but at the front desk..! I am happy that she likes it...(isk..tsk..don't look at it!!)

It not really an ikebana style..but more or less; I love to put various type of flowers in one jar and make it hiddenly attractive with small 'unseen' ornaments...so when someone look at it, people not really sure what attract the eyes; the most...(macam macam je komen..kalau dah detail mmg macam ni!)

A pair of tiny toes on picnic...

Picnic this session was requested by Akhtar's MakLong and she was excitedly cooked us Nasi Lemak and Sardin rolls! Delightful!! And I just prepared a simple breakfast yet nutritious; fibred tuna sandwich with green-purple salad. Match for kids to eye on it and eat. (Just so u know, I am hell worry if kids reluctant to eat...so I have tried my best to make the sandwiches look attractive than usual...huhu..Akhtar's MakLong got 3 toddlers tho!!)

Morning of Eid'Adha

My lil' Akhtar with big shoes...

Thanks to my sister's camera phone so at least we have pictures in the peaceful Qurban's very morning..

Being someone with allergy to eat red meat like me, I didn't feel easy. Since my childhood years, being in Eid'Adha is a horror...cuz i scared that my dad will bring back the qurban's meat, and my mom gonna cook 'em as simple as soup etc....and my lil brother enjoying the food like hell...and then he of course will use the bathroom like a man does (tahu2je lah how not detail a man is)...and the smell of fresh meat is all around the house plus the spices and all that bla bla..I couldn't be at ease to walk around the house (cuz I can't even smell it).. and I had to make myself grounded...and I feel too bad to take bath (I did mentioned why just now)...and the tense...makes my body temperature up, and the worst, Saya PASTI akan demam..

And until now I am still scare of those feelings...(owh now I finally knew why I didn't feel excited..see my previous post below)...

But in all ways, thank god I have a nice understanding mommy, ever since the 1st time I got fever due to the smell and everything, she stopped cooking red meat and cook it just when I was back to varsity for classes...

Note: So I never cook red meat in my house...(Lucky that hubby is not craze on red meat!!)

It's quiet a long time am not here...

Becoz:

1- Akhtar was almost a week warded in KPJ...due to fluctuate body temperature...fever!

2- I took few more days to ensure she was fully recover so my heart was not in it to blog..

3- I am just...lazy somehow...even my heart rebellious to get out from the lazy-zone..

4- and so many many many other reasons...(kalau dah malas

memang alasan sangat banyak dalam kepala..)

I was now packing my stuffs for the Eid's holiday...but even so I don't really feel excited somehow, Which I don't know why....but I keep on packing and ensuring my house in a tidy state...everything's in order so that I can leave it empty 'unlively' and when I come back, my heart is at ease..

I just...love 'em... =) (tiba-tiba!)

Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan : Ipoh, Perak : Pondok Padang

Pondok Padang is not something like a shelter in a greeny field with river next to it or something. No!no!no!

It’s a robustly built restaurant situated adjacent to the Casuarina Hotel and really nearby the Team Keris Building, at the Ipoh main lane. This restaurant was officially launched by Datuk Bandar Ipoh in April 2010.

Pondok Padang is serving Padang’s delights and I must say that the taste is not as ordinary as the common other cooks but on my tongue, I’d rather prefer somewhere else to eat (especially fried rice or something equal). +_+ . But just so you know, the dishes (nasi padang) are superb. Thumbs up! And if you want something western-like or steamboat etc., this is not the correct place. Pondok Padang is not serving that range of cooks.

This was our second visit to try its different selection of cooks as before this, we had a set of plain rice with variety dishes, so now we opted for something simple like fried rice.

Udang Sambal Petai, Kangkung goreng belacan, sup ekor, omelette, tomyam, crab… x ingat masak ape..:

Nasi goreng Seafood we both opted on 2nd visit. Plus Ayam Goreng Bumbu.

Papaya Juice / Cuppucino…

Despite the taste that not really match its sumptuous price, but the spacious area plus the nice ambience so does the provided personal room services, can make a dine experience more calming and family-friendly.

Not a Fine Dine

I have no idea when I started to addicted to a fine piece of cake but I guess this is the almost don’t-know-how-many-times I visited Secret Recipe in a year, and at last I found the cake that yours truly and baby most loved and cherished here; New York Cheese Cake.

I love its well blend cheese flavor and the moist fluffy texture. Delicate! By the way, why not they changed the color to red or violet or…ermm..well it is made of cheese, of course it is in yellow..boring one! =P

What different today was; the dine-in is just for the two of us; me and my lil’ Akhtar. At first, I tot about loitering at the nearby Parkson and shops for heels or tops while waiting for my hubby done his business at the hotel, but since I kind of famish to wait for late night dinner, there we were..

Waiter: What would you like to have, please?
Me: Orange & Apricot slushie; SR fried rice and new york.
Waiter: New York; now or take away?
Me: Now.

Normally, I’d rather take-away, cuz I impossibly finish the big meals and its sides at one time, but as I mentioned, tonight, thing was different.

Akhtar enjoyed the cake so much and ate almost whole piece. She was so over the moon to have an in person ‘date’ with her beloved mommy… I saw.

She was weaning, panjat2 the metal barrier; squirting, saying hi to everybody around her (owh she received a good feedback) and the story began when the hot fried rice served on the table.

Since the cake was almost finished and Akhtar slowing down to eat, I enjoyed my fried rice while she was dancing, jabbering and teasing the love couple at the next table. (Actually that is not the tastiest fried rice found in Ipoh, but I love the chicken satay served in that one plate).

My lil’ ones get excited or someway happily got onto the table and ruthlessly squeezing the plate and one of the satay flew onto the ground, and the workers who were all the times watching her caprices were smiling at me…urghh….(do you think I am happy, boys? – in fact I was not happy (cuz I already tired of working) and happy at the same time cuz I know she’s so active and healthy and happy be around me.)

Flash back conversation with hubby:

Hubby: Are you sure you can make Akhtar a good companion.
Me: Yes of course I do.
Hubby: Are you sure you can control her; you; alone?
Me: Why not dear, I am her mommy, I am sure she would be in control. (Confident tho!!)
Hubby: If that so, I will let both of you be. I won’t take so long and will come back to you as early as possible.
Me: (Nodding). (Secretly in heart saying : it’s ok, take your time…lama pun xpe…)

Boy was I wrong….!!!

Now that my satay flew nowhere…

No guts to spend the time anywhere for only the 2 of us, especially when she’s at this stage of age…I need you around, hubby! ; I do!!!

(FYI: I have prepared to wear a sneaker; instead of high heel. So that I could run after her or whatnot a mom always do. But I think that is not enough for a fine dining….Maybe I should bring a pair of spoon and fork…and errr..apron?! – a sign of can’t-think-anymore).

Mystery of Jane Doe

It’s normal when a work premise is equipped with good facilities such as a nice cubicle, PC and printers sets; whatnot that common…so does a pantry.

One funny old day, one of my scheduler who was in charge of the pantry area cleanliness, had found a terrible thrash in it, and asked my help to draft a notification email.

Nobody do not know that I often pretty busy in the morning (cuz I will have a conference call session at 12 noon), so I helped to draft the short email in less than 10 seconds, without thinking too much, sent it back to her so that she could distribute the notice to all in house.

“Hi All;

The same old issue is still appearing around.
I found a “Jane Doe” who ate burger, left the residue in the wash basin just last few days.
Pls be aware of below reminder and mind to be responsible to take care on our facilities provided.

For those who responsible on it, kindly fix the issue, ASAP!
Thank You.”

3 minutes after the email was distributed, a next door manager was feedback something like:

“Which department has someone name Jane Doe, PC or Buildsheet?”

Dang!!

I was some kind shocking and burst into laugh..OMG.

Right after, we heard that a girl named Jane from her department was terribly been insulted by that cranky funny manager due to the idiom ‘Jane Doe’ been used in that email.

It’s funny for the rest of us, but not for Jane…poor Jane!
I was sorry for that real-unintentional commotion, Jane. (this is the purpose of my post-apologize me!!)

Note:
Jane Doe (for woman) : equally like John Doe (for man) ; referring to someone unknown.(an idiom) – At my workplace, PC and buildsheet department do not have male except the big-big boss. That’s why I opted to use that idiom.

My Fox’s Mints Moment

Women not only appreciate chocolate moments, ice-cream moments or even a warm bubble bath time..but anything that could makes them feel pampered. (Anyway I am not so ice-cream type). Why all these moments vital?

Do you know why 1st Oct is one of important date in this year calendar? Remember; it falls right on Friday.

Friday is the end of WW39 in within 2010 52 weeks.

This special date is the closure of the year 3rd quarter. And I have triple jobs to do. End of week reports, end of month reports and end of quarter reports. Gosh! Terrible enough?

Gosh! Hell that this is intensely depressing me deep down to the earth. If people want to talk to me, talk to the hand, pls!

My bestie in the office…My Fox’s Mints , it so called sweet but I like it cuz it’s not too sweet..and I feel better gnawing and indulge into its mints flavor that refreshing while tucking and picking numbers..

Chocolate; sweets; ice-cream; warm bath; all that can lead to a calming mind…tight sleep…

Mirror Like?? No?

Went back to my mom’s home on the last Eid found me the old toddlerhood’s picture which of all these odd years, I didn’t realize I had had one on that age. Actually I do remember I had that picture when I saw it; but I am kinda oblivious…forgetful!

I figured nothing identic to my lil’ one, except on the skin color and the common gesture. We don’t really have the same eyes, or nose, or lips. Right?

Is there’s anything alike between my lil’ Akhtar (now 1Y 6M) and me (2Y when pic taken), ain’t us?

My Hot Nights..ehemm..

Ignore the sensation of the title..itu saje2 sebab x tau tajuk yang sesuai..I am sometime brain-freeze! apologize yours truly on that.. ^_^

I know that stays wake up at the middle of the night ain’t no good. Not to mention if it is for the sake of health and beauty. Never do!

But of late, I spent a lot of time watching my favorites from youtube. And I am currently so into this Korean series of My Sassy Girl (actress Jeon Ji-Hyun and actor Cha Tae-Hyun) ; which I must say, this romantic comedy series would be my all-times-favorite. (Since my lovey dovey years cuz hubby bought me the VCD for me to watch- he said, they are you and me! Well, he was so mushy…~ but I like! =P)

It is not really our story cuz this love birds separated apart at the climax but below pic tells the most that just like us; We came up from the same school but never know each other…

...and there must be any coincidence some moments somewhere unknown during the schoolhood years, that we both might not know till now..a mistery reminiscence….

I won’t admit when hubby said I am just as bullies as the girl in the movie, asking him to bring my stuff and all that naughty things. But in some way, I loved doing that to him (at that time not yet my husband---of course a girl can tease and to bully her guy as she wished for ; as long as not yet married..LOL)

And next I would spend my nights with the next Korean drama, so a romantic comedy. (auwww)

Watch these 2 dramas and you will admit, they both won’t let you down..they just spankingly entertaining!. (Even tho they are so old- bet you!!)

Note: I endowed him a classic love story (entah tahun anniversary yang ke berapa dulu..lupe!!)- "wicker park" as to appreciates the story line that full of coincidences that would smartly 'frustrated' the audients and to remind that by all means, if God has made me for him, in all ways we always meant to be together. (at the end of watching; you will be awed of the art of the editorial- it just awesome!)

My Cubicle...Your Prison

Eit… this is almost the 1000 times I received this chain-email ever, in different version, malay or English…Nevertheless, it is just a simple joke to even more provoke those with work-heart-ache..those who have, don’t read cuz it will even drive uols irrelevant…Which you may say something like…” eh this writings make a lot of sense!!!” Some people do..I guess…=P

IN PRISON… you spend the majority of your time in an 8'X10' cell.
AT WORK… you spend most of your time in a 6'X8' cubicle…

IN PRISON… you get three meals a day (free).
AT WORK… you only get a break for one meal and probably have to pay for it yourself.

IN PRISON… you get time off for good behaviour.
AT WORK… you get rewarded for good behaviour with more WORK.

IN PRISON… a guard locks and unlocks the doors for you…
AT WORK… you must carry around a security card and unlock open all the doors yourself.

IN PRISON… you can watch TV and play games.
AT WORK … you get fired for watching TV and playing games.

IN PRISON… they allow your family and friends to visit.
AT WORK… you can not even speak to your family and friends.

IN PRISON… all expenses are paid by taxpayers with no work at all.
AT WORK … You get to pay all the expenses to go to work and then they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for the prisoners.

Asking readers which sound better?

I choose my cubicle…even it sounds NOT-AWESOME but I believe every great thing happen after the bad…just like the rainbow after the rain…just like my career here; after the passed one..

Knowing that, once upon a time, I thought the job that I did in the previous was tough, was not good enough, the system is bad, I need to boost my excel skills while reporting..whatnot…list it down, everything was bad for me…

But after all, when I step into my new ventures, thanks God when I learnt that my previous experiences really do me a favour hell a lot…And I knew that God has set it up in this way, cuz only HIM knows what the best for us…

Would u know what the bad now will put you in a better position soon after, wouldn’t you?

So chill the things that you currently hold, and strive harder for a betterment, take the bad but do not keep it, turn it to be beautiful…
